Service Standards & Fleet Integrity

To ensure a consistently high-quality experience, JM follows a rigorous service protocol and maintenance schedule. Our service trucks operate daily, excluding select national holidays. On those occasions, a modified schedule is provided to all affected customers to prevent any lapse in service.

We also operate dedicated fleets for each of our service types to maintain optimal performance and cleanliness. Our Weekend & Event Fleet is reserved exclusively for gatherings and recreational events — guaranteeing your rental has never been used on a job site and arrives in pristine condition.

Our Site-Use and Long-Term Rental Fleets are thoroughly cleaned and maintained on a weekly basis or more frequently, depending on your service needs. Between rentals, every unit undergoes a detailed multi-point inspection and full maintenance to ensure both performance and longevity — so you can trust your rental is always ready and reliable.

jm dual™ - the clean hands crew.

  • The JM DUAL™ is our stand-alone two station handwash rental. Being a stand alone rental it is the perfect solution where permanent handwash sinks are not available.This rental pairs perfectly with any of our portable toilet units. Consider renting this for your job site, party, or big event!

    This unit provides approximately 350 pumps without refill.

weekend rentals: holiday weekends

Aloha!

Rental Tips: JM’s weekend rental policy is drop-off Friday, and pick-up Monday. However, for holiday weekends JM is able to make accommodations if requested at booking to have modified delivery and retrieval times. (i.e., Thursday delivery, late-afternoon Monday or Tuesday morning pick-up).

Our office is closed on the weekends, but our inbox is open! If you missed us during the week, please give us a call and leave a message or send us an email! Someone from our team will respond to your inquiry at the start of business on Monday. 

minimizing odor in your rental

Rental Tips: If you are trying to minimize smell in your portable toilet rental unit, we suggest keeping the lid in the closed position when the toilet is not in use.  

delivery and removal

Rental Tips: Delivery and pick-up requests can be made no sooner than 72 hours. Our technicians are on a scheduled route and will be dispatched to pick up a rental at the next available date. 

If the requested delivery is within 72 hours, please call 808.367.1120.

Due to routing schedules, weekend requests may be delivered on Thursday/Friday and picked up Monday/Tuesday.

Rental Tips: For the safety of our drivers and to minimize any property damage, our portable toilet rentals must be within 10 ft of where our trucks can drive without restrictions.

Secure your rental, prevent a spill

Rental Tips: If your rental location is a secured site and requires special entry passes or self-service access via combination locks you are required to get JM access to the site prior to your requested rental period. If your rental is long-term JM will require weekly access to properly maintain the portable toilet rental(s).

Wind advisory and bad weather

It is the renters responsibility to make sure that they secure the portable restroom to the ground. Units that tip over due to wind or severe weather are charged an additional cleaning fee. 

  • You may do so by using a utility strap and some stakes mounted in the ground on either side of the toilet.

  • You may also [WITHOUT DAMAGING] mount rebar stakes in the foot of the toilet. 

  • In any case that the rental is damaged due to failure to check with the JM Portable Rentals office or if you punctured the toilet you will be responsible for repair or replacement costs.

Mud Zone Notice

MUD ZONE Disclaimer:

This is to inform you that your requested rental location is a mud zone, as determined by JM Portable Rental standards. Due to the location of your rental site, your unit may not be accessible after rain, storms, or hazardous weather. JM Portable Rentals may attempt to service it and reserves the right to leave a notice at your site’s entrance informing you that the rental is inaccessible. Your service will then be rescheduled for another date or your next service day. If you request for your service to be done that same week it may be subject to a service fee and you may be held responsible for any recovery fees if a JM service truck becomes stranded on your premises. JM Portable Rentals reserves the right to modify this policy at any time.

placement guidelines

Rental Tips: Be prepared for delivery! Have a site in mind for the portable toilet rentals, and make sure your point-of-contact is available at the site upon delivery. We recommend if you are hosting a large event or party that you distance the toilets from the main gathering area to allow ample space for lines.

If the original placement (Plan A) request is not feasible and/or not within our guidelines, an alternative placement (Plan B) is requested in advance.

If you are unable to be present at delivery please ensure accessibility and placement details.
